Lila Holley

is the Senior Editor of Comeback Season Publishing, where she brings her expertise in storytelling, editing, and publishing to help authors bring their stories to life. She is a retired U.S. Army senior leader and combat Veteran with 22 years of Active Duty service.
Lila is a multi-award-winning, Amazon bestselling author who has helped more than 167 women become published authors through her brand, Camouflaged Sisters. She holds a Master’s degree in Creative Writing with a concentration in Publishing from Western Colorado University, and her work has been featured in Forbes, The Huffington Post, and Black Enterprise. She is also the founder of the nonprofit Stories of the Sisterhood (SOS), where she continues her commitment to elevating women’s voices through storytelling.

After losing custody of her children due to addiction, Mindy Volentine courageously chose recovery and worked to rebuild her life and restore her family. Now celebrating six years in recovery, Mindy serves as a Peer Support Specialist with Spindletop Center, and also serves on the Family Drug Court Committee—the same court that once removed her children, later reunited her family, and now benefits from her service.
